To encourage more young people to get into the aviation industry, Virgin Atlantic wanted to deliver a pop up flight deck experience at check in at LHR for one week during the school half term. I designed the concept and steered the craft and artwork with a design intern to produce a pin badge to give out to all participants. I took inspiration from the adult crew wings badge, but rounded the wings corners, shortened them and took out the detail, so it felt fun and more engaging for a younger audience. I then designed and artworked all the event pop up assets and giveaway's. Cloud floor vinyls, pink and red branded back drops and props, certificates and snapchat filters brought the creative to life in the check in space. The pop up experience had fantastic stand out in a predominantly white environment and received excellent reviews.
