MY PROCESS
I like to build a really strong relationship with clients, engaging them every step of the way to ensure I'm delivering an on brief and on brand solution, ticking your business and commercial objectives. Whether you're wanting a brand identity and everything that goes with that, logo, colour palette, typography, brand guidelines, image principles and so on, or you're after a flyer to promote a product or service or even if you just want bucket loads of ideas and supporting moodboards, then I'll bring bundles of passion, and inspiration to the table and I'll be your one point of contact. I can work independently or collaborate as part of a team.
I'm from a brand background so this is where I can bring real strength to your brief. A great brand is built on a foundation of brand purpose and underpinned by strong company values. It is so important to define your brand. Knowing who you are, where you want to be and how you want your customers to remember and perceive you is down to great brand strategy, planning and market research. It's really important to me that I get under the skin of your brand, understand your internal culture and who your customer segmentation is. This will ensure I provide you not only with a visually engaging creative solution, but one that has meaning and purpose and will give you and your customers brand consistency and build on brand preference.

SO...WHERE DO I START?
01. THE BRIEF 
The most important bit! this will inevitably be the foundation for starting a project and a measurable piece for any creative output. You may have a brief and know exactly what you want to achieve, great! But equally you may not know exactly what it is you want or the best formats to deliver your message, that’s fine too, we can write the brief together. At the start of any project we'll have a chat about your objectives, deliverables, timescales and budget.
I can also supply a briefing template for you to fill out that asks some key questions at the start of a project. 
02. RESEARCH
One of my favourite parts of a project and the stage that will define the creative direction. Once we've nailed the brief I'll then start to research, this gets the creative juices flowing and provides bundles of inspiration. This stage allows me to research into your company and your industry, what your competitors are doing and who your audience is. At this stage I'll fill the walls with inspiration, tear sheets, scamps and notes. I'll provide you with a deck containing the research stage along with moodboards and style sheets for us to discuss and agree a creative direction.
03. IDEAS, IDEAS, IDEAS
So the bit I love the most! With creative direction agreed I can then get to work on the ideas stage. I would provide you with an agreed number of concepts, these would be scamps, drawn or rough mac visuals, along with rationale and any further supporting moodboards. Each concept will then give you insight into how the idea will come to life, look and feel. 
04. DEVELOPMENT
After a chat with you and a bit of time living with the ideas I’ll then get to work developing your chosen concept/s, this will include more advanced copy and imagery suggestions, refining every aspect of the chosen creative route. Applying the idea across several formats to ensure it works consistently well, whether that's in print or digital. It's at this stage we can look in more detail at print finishes and added design details. Mock ups and print samples would be a good idea at this stage.
05. REFINE AND ARTWORK
When you’re happy with the development of your chosen concept I’ll set to work refining any final elements and artworking assets if required, ready to supply to you in all the necessary formats requested in the brief. Artwork can be sent directly to you or I can liaise with the printers and suppliers directly for you if required.
