ONE OCEAN BEAUTY
One Ocean Beauty is a sustainable, clean skincare and wellness brand founded in 2018 by former Burberry Beauty executive Marcella Cacci. The company uses blue biotechnology to replicate marine active ingredients like algae and seaweed in a lab rather than harvesting them, protecting ocean biodiversity.
It was an easy 'Yes' to working with the team at One Ocean Beauty. I shared their values and passion to protect our oceans, so working with them was a dream. We worked together to do a full overhaul of the website, and alongside that, the packaging was updated, followed by social media. Influencer cards and customer mailboxes were created, along with extensive, regular campaign collateral supporting organisations working towards cleaning up our oceans.
It was really important to ensure the 'clean' message was delivered alongside the company's pledge. Consistency was key to building trust as this was a young brand breaking into a saturated U.S. skincare market.
