THE SENSORY NETWORK
The Sensory Network is a multi-sensory nurturing space for babies and young children across West Sussex and the surrounding areas. They lay the foundations for learning and wellbeing from birth to pre-school, encouraging children to explore, grow, and feel safe through sensory play whilst guiding and supporting parents along the way.
The Identity is playful, fun and eye-catching for both children and parents. An umbrella logo was created for the brand, and then the 4 sub-brands followed the same style. A suite of characters based on shapes is used to link the master logo to all the customer touch points.
As the brand has grown, an additional logo has been added to the suite. A permanent premise has been established for the classes, and The Sensory Network wanted to mark this with its own name. This is Katie's House. Keeping the fonts, colours and styling the same, this logo sits neatly with the other idents in the brand kit.
The suite of logos has to work at various scales and colour ways, across printed material, digital assets, uniforms, signage and equipment. It's flexible in style so that the logo will adapt as the brand grows.
The character icons are designed around shapes. The main set has little character faces, arms and legs, representing children's imaginations and playfulness. They are designed to be adapted to different play themes or events. For example, they become Christmas themed for the festive classes and animal themed for the jungle and underwater themed classes.
